This project involved renovation and repairs to the Naval Hospital galley. Scope items included demolition of approximately half of the interior floor slab to replace underground water and sewer piping and make slab repairs; removing and replacing overhead fire suppression, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC; removing and reconfiguring interior masonry walls; and removal and replacement of existing kitchen equipment with an improved layout, including walk-in refrigerators and freezers. The project included a complete interior renovation with new chemical resistant tile and grout, glass wall tile in the dining area, new ceilings that were a combination of hard ceilings, drop tile, and linear metal ceilings, trim carpentry, painting, and others.
