16th CAV Regiment General Instruction Building

Details

This project involved the design/build of a 68,508 SF instruction building. The two-story facility provides space for up to 564 students and 62 instructors. The building contains classrooms ranging in size from 6 to over 80 students, a 200-seat auditorium, office space, and ancillary support spaces. The building arrangement, form, and appearance are similar to typical college and university classroom buildings and it was designed to complement existing campus buildings. The project included Building Information modeling (BIM) from concept through construction closeout and is qualified for USGBC LEED Silver certification.
